The OscilloWitt Oscillating Mill provides the optimum sizing conditions with high throughput rates, and is particularly beneficial where a very low percentage of fines are required within the finished milled product.  The gentle sizing conditions of the OscilloWitt Oscillating Mill allow even the most heat sensitive products to be gently milled to the required particle size.

Operational Principle of the OscilloWitt Oscillating Mill

The oscillating rotor movement gently mills the product through the sieve.  The constant speed and power input together with the large active sieve surface area mean that the energy imparted into the product is constant.  This greatly reduces the risk of fines being created, and produces a much tighter particle size distribution.

Both dry and wet products can be sized and homogenised, and agglomerates eliminated.

Depending on the product and the target particle size distribution, meshes with round wire, square wire, perforated plate or rasp can be used.
